		<description><![CDATA[Archie St. Cyr, who was also known as &#8220;Snookie&#8221;, was born on November 9, 1953 and died on March 13, 1994 due to AIDS.
Archie graduated Clark school in the year of 1972 and then later attended NTID in 1975 and graduated there in 1979.
Archie has two beautiful children, Andrew St. Cyr and Carrie St.Cyr.

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Funeral services for Edwin Eargle Chavis, 52, were held on September 23, 2008, at First Baptist Church of Columbia, Boyce Chapel, with interment in Celestial Memorial Gardens. Rev. Dennis Banks officiated and Minister of Special Ministries, and Barbara Porter, interpreted the service.</p>
<p>Mr. Chavis was born January 23, 1956, in Columbia and passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2008, after a lengthy illness. He was the son of the late Edward C. and Rheba Eargle Chavis. Edwin graduated from Spartanburg School for the Deaf and Blind and he retired from the Internal Revenue Service. Mr. Chavis dearly loved his friends and the deaf ministry of First Baptist Church of Columbia.</p>
<p>Mr. Chavis is survived by his sisters, Mrs. Phyllis Huffstetler (Bill) of Chapin and Mrs. Renee Foster (Jim) of Batesburg; nieces and nephews, Gerald Risinger, Carolyn Boltin-Kelly, Stephen Risinger, Mica Wilson, Ashley Snoddy, Scott and Clayton Wilson and Carly Boltin. He was predeceased by his sister, LaVonne Herring.</p>

<p>Don was born December 22, 1969 in Holland, Michigan.  In 1988, he graduated from the Michigan School for the Deaf.  Don was a loving boy that grew into a very caring and gentle man. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Laura Lynn and James Boullosa; his father, Donald G. Maynard Sr.; brothers, Ron and Sherry Vande Berg, William Vande Berg; sisters,  Nancy and Curtis Lyon, Nicole Boullosa; grandmothers, Georgine Duncan and Betty Batey; several nephews, aunts and uncles.</p>
<p>A memorial service in Don’s honor was held on Friday, October 3, 2008 at the Notier-Ver Lee-Langeland Funeral Chapel, 315 E. 16th Street, Holland.  Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Holland.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Tobias Tribble, III, died on  April 30, 2008, of AIDS-related complications and kidney failure. Tobias died a few days after his 49th birthday. Tobias had been a client of the Deaf AIDS Project in Sylvan, Michigan since 2005. Tobias was hard of hearing. Tobias had recently returned from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he resided for about four months. Tobias returned to Detroit when it was discovered he was diagnosed with cancer, and he was too weak to care for himself. Tobias previously worked in Washington, DC, as a junior accountant. He is survived by his mother, father, sisters, and other relatives and friends.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img class="alignleft" title="Donald Lawrence" src="http://deafaids.info/photos/donald_lawrence.jpg" alt="" width="207" height="259" />Donald DeWayne Lawrence of Castro Valley, California passed away on April 3, 2005 at Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley. He died peacefully in his sleep with his companion, Tony Lewis, and his pastor, The Rev. Dr. Arlene K. Nehring, at his bedside.  He was 35 years old.</p>
<p>A memorial service was held at Eden United Church of Christ in Hayward on Sunday, April 17 at 5 o’clock p.m. A private sea scattering on the San Francisco Bay was held during a private service on Saturday, July 9, 2005.</p>
<p>Donald was a life-long resident of the San Francisco Bay Area. He was a member of Eden United Church of Christ. Survivors include his mother, Evelyn Lawrence; his life partner and companion of 14 years, Tony Lewis; 2 brothers, Richard Lawrence and James Lawrence II; 2 sisters, Linda Calyer and Jeannie May; 4 nephews, 3 nieces, and many friends.</p>
